3 Hacks For Deep Cleaning Your Oven With Natural Ingredients

Maintaining your oven clean is hard but deep cleaning it is even harder which is why you must take little steps to always make sure the appliance is clean – so you don’t have to spend hours scrubbing and deep cleaning it. But how can you do that? How can you maintain the oven clean? Well, today I have decided that I am going to teach you just that – and what’s even better is that I only use natural ingredients which are inexpensive and non-toxic!

So without further ado, let’s get started with all of the hacks I have for you!

3 Hacks For Deep Cleaning Your Oven With Natural Ingredients!

– Baking soda and vinegar

Probably one of my favourite ways to clean the door of the oven is by using baking soda and vinegar. I just simply open the door, sprinkle baking soda all over it then spray vinegar on top. Both ingredients will react and create a fizzing which will essentially break up and loosen up all the impurities, grease, and build-up!

Then, a few minutes later, I just wipe it with a cloth.

Sometimes I also use this trick to clean the entire interior of the oven – not just the glass. So if your appliance is super dirty or you just want to maintain it clean – this is the easiest and most inexpensive way!

  • Ammonia

Another amazing hack I have but this time it’s for the burners. If you have no idea how to clean them then simply remove them from the appliance, place them in a bag, pour a cup of ammonia in there, seal the bag – and leave them overnight. If you have time and you aren’t in a hurry, I would even suggest leaving them for 24 hours.

Then take them out and rinse them well!

– Fabric Softener

This hack definitely sounds super weird, however, it works so don’t knock it until you try it!

In order to clean your oven racks and remove all the grease, soak them in a mixture of hot water and fabric softener for a few hours. Then you need to grab dry sheets and scrub the racks with them. I don’t know why or how this works – but it does!
